Department of Driver Services (DDS) Closes for Training

15 Centers closed Thursday, October 29th

Department of Driver Services (DDS) will close fifteen customer service centers on Thursday, October 29th, to enable staff to train for the transition to Georgia’s new licensing process. More secure licenses and IDs will be issued by the end of the year.

To locate an alternate center, please visit the DDS website at www.dds.ga.gov or call (678) 413-8400 or (866) 754-3687 if calling outside the Metro Atlanta Area. Remember many transactions such as renewing a lost license or initiating a change of address can be done online at www.dds.ga.gov.

DDS apologizes to our customers for any inconvenience. All Centers will return to their normal operating schedule on Friday, October 30th.
