Rules and Regulations for Chapter 375-8-1

375-8-1-.05 Proof of Insurance by Owner and Operator

Any owner or operator of a motor vehicle subject to “The Georgia Motor Vehicle Accident Reparations Act” which does not have a “Valid Insurance Coverage” status indicator in the GEICS shall be required to demonstrate compliance with said Act in the manner provided in O.C.G.A. § 40-6-10, to demonstrate compliance to a law enforcement officer, or in the manner provided in O.C.G.A. § 40-2-26, to demonstrate compliance for vehicle registration purposes.
